Welcome to P.A.T.H.

PATH, or People Attempting to Help, Incorporated, is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization. Started in 1982 by the Western York County Christian Ministers Association, it has now been serving the citizens of the city of York and its outlying environs for 25 years.

PATH includes a food pantry, associated thrift store, emergency financial aid for utilities and other needs, and is the frontline of community aid for those in crisis. We are located at 204 Raille St in York, and our hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Please be aware that clients must sign in by 11:00 AM to be served that day.

Currently (in both 2005 and 2006) PATH is helping about 5,000 families and about 12,000-13,000 individuals each year in York School District #1. Please click on About Us, and explore this website for more information.

Hours of Operation:
PATH is open every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9am until 12noon.  Be aware that if you are a client, you MUST sign in by 11am to be seen that day.  Also, Cheryl Curtin, the executive director, is still available by phone until at least 1pm.  This is also our hours for drop-off donations, unless you have made arrangements beforehand for another time.
