To receive services from PATH, one must be a resident of York School District #1 (York, Sharon, Hickory Grove, Smyrna, McConnells, and very small parts of Clover and Rock Hill).  For those living on borderlines and unsure of whose jurisdiction they fall under, we have a wall map at our facility at 204 Raille St, by which we can check the address.

Clients must also provide proof of eligibility by bringing their Department of Social Services printout, obtained at the Department of Social Services, 12 West Liberty Street in York.  Photo identification is also required, and those seeking financial assistance must bring the original bill with them.

Provided we have food and/or funds at the time, we will provide eligible applicants with a grocery order once a month.  We strive to have this order feed their entire household for a week.  A voucher for two free outfits of clothing, or special needs clothing, for every household member from our Thrift Store is available every two months if needed.  Financial aid is available every 3-4 months, and is given for utility bills, rent, prescription medications, emergency stopgap housing at one of the local motels, kerosene or other heating oil, and other small qualifying needs.
